Jim has a broad understanding of military design and design criteria. That’s because he’s been designing everything from Reserve Centers to barracks to helicopter hangars to simulation centers for the past 25 years. A close consultant with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Army Reserve, Jim has developed more than 60 projects on bases across the country - from Seattle to Puerto Rico, and Connecticut to Honolulu. Highlights include sustainable facilities like the NCO Academy and Public Safety Center at Fort McCoy, the AFRC/OMS/UHS at Butte, and the Headquarters building at Ft. Carson. In addition to project work, Jim has led our efforts to develop, update and maintain Army Reserve criteria and shared documents including the Army Reserve’s Design Guide, RPX Manual and IT Manual.
