Since 1984, the Calhoun Square office, retail and entertainment center, located in the hip Uptown area of Minneapolis, has been a destination center and focal point for a dynamic, diverse neighborhood. A repositioning and renovation of the center was necessary to lure new tenants and retailers. RSP has re-imagined the center, transforming the interior-orientated mall into a vibrant mixed-use community that engages the vitality of its urban neighborhood. The new and improved Calhoun Square features space for eclectic local and nationally prominent retailers, restaurants and cafes. A variety of pedestrian-appealing storefronts and multiple entries entice visitors inside. A new outdoor public space will host farmers’ markets, musical events and arts and crafts fairs.
