The world-renowned Mayo Clinic, based in Rochester, MN, is an integrated medical center dedicated to providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment in virtually every medical and surgical specialty. RSP has provided architectural services for most of the Mayo’s 30 buildings over the past 15 years. Major projects include:

1. The 14-story Stabile Support Services Building which includes autopsy labs, anatomy teaching labs, surgical skills labs, micro-surgery skills labs, and several “wet,” video-integrated, conference rooms for both cardiac and neuro-cranial demonstrations

2. A new equipment and racking layout for the 80,000 square foot Inventory Center, a “just-in-time” distribution center for all laboratory facilities

3. Four floors for the Minnesota Partnership for Biotechnology & Medical Genomics that consisted of new office space and lab facilities

4. Adaptive reuse of a 200,000 square foot former office/manufacturing facility into functional office space for a division of Mayo Collaborative Services. Known as Superior Drive Support Center, the facility includes office space, a call center and facilities for handling medical specimens.

5. A 47,000 square foot remodel of the radiology department at St. Mary’s Hospital

6. MRI expansion on the ground floor of St. Mary’s Hospital
